5 reviews for GZAIR X-1 Carbon Monoxide Detector with Visual, Audible, and Vibrating Alerts, Handheld CO Monitor, Portable CO Gas Alarm for Home and Travel, Battery Operated, Alarm Logger

  1. J & S

I love that this is a fast-acting and sensitive CO meter. That makes it suitable for use in applications where sensing a low-level of CO and having the sensor update quickly is needed.

  2. Lancy

I purchased this for two purposes: camping and winter car starting in the garage. Knowing when the CO level exceeds safety limits is essential because we occasionally go hot tent camping. This unit works very well.

  3. J. Grandy

This is an expensive carbon monoxide detector but we have three families living on our property & two of them sleep in RVs. The weather is changing, and the gas-powered RVs are heated. Since there is a chance that something could go wrong at night in an enclosed RV, we installed this carbon monoxide detector in ours to be careful.

In the same way that a standard smoke detector should be installed, these are an excellent idea. Our real estate agent warned us that if there isn’t a CO detector next to the bedrooms, it would be recorded against us in an inspection when we put our house up for sale. Additionally, it’s best to have them spread out across the house. My husband said that setting it up and using it was easy. I pray we never have to hear the announcement that our home has dangerously high carbon monoxide levels.

  4. Phil

The motorhome has a propane heater, stove and fridge, so an CO monitor is a must.

What I like about this Carbon Monoxide Detector:
    – The look and feel of it
    – The portability and ease of use.
    – It is rechargeable so no tossing away batteries.

  5. Will L

knowledge’s influence. making sure you can breathe the air you are breathing.
Box trucks, tuggers, and semi-truck emissions are all continually moving around at the warehouse where I work.
When I attach the GZAIR carbon monoxide detector, I feel quite secure.
The monitor has notified me each time a harmful level has been reached. It is quite simple to use, portable, and provides great stress relief.
