Works perfectly, it seems. I bought this because I thought my semi truck might have a CO2 leak when I utilized the bunk heater. And I was accurate. Now, I just sleep with this item right next to me for security’s sake.

When you live in a truck and travel frequently, carbon monoxide is a serious hazard. My life was spared by this detector a few months ago. The bracket for the bunk heater broke, and the exhaust was being vented right into the cabin. This detector detected it right away, allowing me to quickly bring it into a shop for repair. The store stated quite clearly that I would die if I didn’t have this item.

This portable CO detector is small, compact and great for travel. We keep it at home, but take it with us in our vehicle and RV on trips. With carbon monoxide being a silent killer, and even low levels of exposure being dangerous, it’s important to know when you see an increase in CO levels so you can take steps to rectify and protect your – and your family’s health. We recently witnesses some CO testing experiments with the local fire department and bought this right after. Not cheap, but you can’t put a price on your health and safety!
