This air quality sensor is rather excellent. I like the way it looks; it’s simple and straightforward. I compared it to an air quality meter on a rather costly air filter and it came close to being accurate.
It looks and functions well.

Since I run a swamp cooler during the summer, I use it in my bedroom to monitor the air quality and humidity.
It’s delicate, and as far as accuracy goes, I’m satisfied.

The gzair Indoor Air Quality Monitor allows us to save additional costs while ensuring HVAC performance provides healthy IAQ. The smart feature has been important in helping us to monitor our IAQ when we are away from home.

This small device has surprised me very pleasantly. It seems correct and is really simple to use and understand (how do you actually know?). It performed similarly to the stated figures for the air quality in my area when tested outside. When the air quality changes, it reacts swiftly (blow out a candle, and it freaks out!). It would actually be wonderful if the display had a dimmer so that it could be used in a bedroom at night because it is very bright. The red, yellow, and green indication is useful, but you have to pay close attention to tell yellow from green.

This is a great air quality meter. I have been looking at some DIY solutions and for the price and the size of the screen you can’t go wrong.
I was able to easily connect it to the Tuya smart app and see some historical data along with being able to setup notifications within the app. I was really surprised to see that I could connect it to Home Assistant through the Local Tuya integration. Unfortunately for me it only read it in Celsius though.
I put it around my house in a couple different locations to see what the PM2.5 would read. I was glad to see that it had an internal battery to save the time and WiFi info so that I did not have to set that up each time I moved it.
The temp and humidity seemed to be pretty accurate compared to my other sensors in the same locations that I had the meter. I will be looking at getting another one of these for inside the house as this one will be used exclusively in the garage to keep an eye things while working on different types of projects.
